Weeknotes #103 (October 24, 2026)

Things I found, read, did, and produced this past week.
Things I worked on
- I wrote on how I've been using AI this fall.
Things I consumed
- Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2 is out as a new story in the world of CD Project Red and R. Taslorian Games. It may not be the highs of the first season but I still am engaged in the new story and seeing where the characters go. Similarly, Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5 to add some small things from the season into the game. I may dive back in shortly to play it again and explore the city.
- iPhone Duo was released Friday to the world. $2000 for a folding phone is still not for me, and reviews are showing this is a first generation product, but I see potential if it grows over the years.
- Smart TVs have been filled with a bunch of ads and bad data collection, and some developers asked, what if we could vibe code the TV OS slop away. This is particularly for Android / Google TVs, but a push in favor of consumers being able to do what they want with their devices.
- Steam Personal Calendar is out of the beta, and it is definitely a good addition to the storefront. It shows a mixture of games in your genres as well as big new releases and I feel I like the layout of this rather than the standard "Popular Upcoming" tab.
