Weeknotes #72 (March 21, 2026)

Things I found, read, did, and produced this past week.
Things I consumed
- OpenAI's smaller models GPT 5.4 mini & nano released earlier this week. I've yet to try either model out yet, but for tasks where you don't need the strongest model, they are definitely affordable at 3-10x cheaper than the standard GPT 5.4 model on API pricing.
- More AI labs also are trying to get in to the OpenClaw field of being able to use your agents from devices outside of just a standard computer. Anthropic released both Claude Cowork Dispatch where you can start sessions from the mobile app and Claude Code Channels which allow you to start claude code sessions from apps like Telegram and Discord. As well, Nvidia also announced NemoClaw which is their take on the OpenClaw autonomous agent. I've yet to personally try one of these types of agents you can call from anywhere and let it just run due to the prompt injection / security holes that have been wide with these tools, but these companies reimplementing various functions of it at least says this is something.
- For the movie night I do with my friends every so often, we watched the cult classic Battle Royale which kickstarted the whole genre both in TV, film, and video games. Beat Takeshi's performance in it definitely stood out as memorable comedic moments in a rather action heavy movie.
